karibuni tanzania - virtual series
Karibuni Tanzania is a series of interactive virtual events hosted by The Olive Branch for Children where participants will have the chance to join in, have fun and learn about different aspects of Tanzanian culture.
Each 1-hour event will be hosted by one of our Project Managers in Tanzania.
The aim of this series is to connect virtually with The Olive Branch global community, and provide those who have not visited Tanzania an accurate look into Tanzanian culture and our work. Participants will be able to ask questions about our programs.
Karibuni Tanzania is part of a larger strategy implemented by The Olive Branch for Children to offer its global community the opportunity to ethically participate in cross-cultural exchanges. The Olive Branch for Children believes that providing mutually beneficial cultural experiences is key to dismantling the stereotypes that the African continent, and countries such as Tanzania face.

April is the month we usually hold our Annual Fundraising Gala in Toronto, Canada, where we gather in person to celebrate the amazing work of The Olive Branch for Children and provide support to fund that work for the upcoming year. In 2021, we opted to gather our global community of supporters virtually on the evening of Friday, April 30th. Thank you to Peter and Pauls Catering for the delicious appetizers for this event.

14th Annual Gala Fundraising Dinner
Bellvue Manor in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada
We will review the past year in the Mbeya region of Tanzania, touching on all of the charity's programs and successes, as well as the difficulties encountered, and outline the future direction of The Olive Branch for Children. Surrounded by friends and family, we will enjoy our achievements together accompanied by a 4-course meal, open bar and incredible entertainment. You will have the chance to bid on amazing
silent auction items and perhaps win our big raffle prize.
All proceeds will go to annual operations of TOBFC on the ground in Tanzania.
