community care
The Community Care pillar is the group of programs that The Olive Branch for Children (TOBFC) provides to ensure people have the basic necessities of life, including food, shelter and water.
Our Team Hope and Food Support programs are designed to help individuals and target the most vulnerable people we serve. Our Social Care Team is comprised of three social workers – Lucy, Dez, and Isaya – who supervise and guide these services, as well as some of our Financial Care programs. TOBFC’s 19 Complete Community Care Team staff are our outreach team on the ground that delivers these services.
Our 19 Complete Community Care Team employees provide key feedback from each community that informs our program development. We tailor our services to respond to the unique needs of each community we support. TOBFC advocates for the most vulnerable to ensure that communities are part of the solution when plans are developed for our catchment area.
Our Water is Life program focusses on providing clean, safe drinking water that is convenient for communities to use.
The TOBFC Infrastructure Development program co-ordinates and constructs all the projects in our catchment area that support our program delivery and respond to community needs.
