Thank you to our TOBFC Global Family for making our 15th Annual Gala such a great success! It was wonderful to see so many supporters in person once again on Friday, May 5, 2023, in Vaughan, Canada. Together we raised a total of CAN $89,304 that will help ensure the success of our programs in 2023.
The night was filled with lots of fun activities, including a photo booth, dancing, door prizes, and our very popular 3D virtual reality tour of TOBFC programs in Tanzania. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make the evening a success. A special thank you to our MC Tom Morton who kept us on track, Andres Molnar our trumpeter, Stephanie Ferracane who sang the Tanzanian and Canadian national anthems, and Allan Moore the evening's photographer.
Our founder Deborah McCracken-Nangereke’s keynote address included some personal stories, interesting insights into TOBFC programs and plans for the coming year. She emphasized the transformative role that education programs have on both individuals and communities. Thank you for supporting TOBFC’s programs and helping our students dream!
