Joyce is a recipient of our Kubuni Start-Up Grant to open a small restaurant. After recently giving birth to her second child, Joyce realized she needed to become financially secure to provide her children with the best possible future.
Lucy, our Kubuni Grant Manager, has been supporting Joyce throughout the process of starting her business. So far, she has an established customer base within her village, and hopes to get more customers as the rains lessen and the roads are more accessible to outsiders.
