Our programs

Our programs are designed and led by the communities they support, allowing them to evolve with changing needs. TOBFC focuses on HIV/AIDS prevention and care, early childhood education, academic support, food and income security, and vulnerable women and children. By establishing community-based and community-led programs, TOBFC is able to empower and strengthen remote communities, giving them the knowledge and resources to address their own challenges. This model results in relevant support systems that can be adjusted and replicated in communities throughout Tanzania and further afield.

​In 2023, TOBFC streamlined its five program pillars to make them more relatable to both recipients and donors. TOBFC continues to operate all the programs it previously did, but some smaller programs have been consolidated.
