TOBFC Team to Run Galway Bay Marathon for OUR Education Programs
The Olive Branch for Children (TOBFC) Ireland is organizing a team to participate in the Galway Bay Marathon on October 11th, 2025. Our Founder Deborah McCracken-Nangereke and her husband Putiyei Nangereke are members of the team and will attempt the full 42-kilometre run. This event will help mark the 5th anniversary of TOBFC Ireland.

Funds raised for the Make Their First Step In Education Their Best Step! campaign will support TOBFC education programs in Tanzania. These programs help vulnerable children attend our Montessori Kindergartens and other schools, access our KICKIT mobile libraries, and receive educational resources such as school uniforms and textbooks. In Canada, this event will replace our annual Back to School campaign. Please donate to the marathon to help our students get off to a great start as they return to school.

Join us for a fun day of curling. Beginners welcome!
Our Curling Bonspiel will continue to support our Healthy Mamas, Menstrual Equity and Food Support programs that all target vulnerable girls and women. Funds raised for our Food Support Program will be directed to our Infant Nutrition initiative.
