2025 Mount Temple Community Rugby Event

Thank you to our Irish supporters for making TOBFC Ireland’s
annual community gathering and rugby match such a grand success.
A remarkable €15,442 was raised in support of The Olive Branch for
Children.
The Mount Temple TOBFC Fundraising Committee, led by
TOBFC trustee Joe Brown, put in three months of hard work to host
this year’s event on July 19, 2025 in County Westmeath, Ireland.
The day began with a rousing rugby match between the TOBFC Barbarians and the Midland Warriors. Our special guest Jordan Conroy of the Irish National 7s Rugby Team distributed the game jerseys and took pictures with spectators and fans. Event sponsors Michael and Claire Moore from Moore Motors were on hand to start the match. The teams battled and played a tough match, with the TOBFC Barbarians emerging as winners for the third year in a row.
Afterwards, the cup was presented to the winners by TOBFC Founder and CEO Deborah McCracken-Nangereke. She thanked the event organizers, sponsors, players, and guests, and spoke briefly about TOBFC’s transformational work in Tanzania.
Following the match, everyone gathered at Egan‘s Pub for the evening’s festivities. The raffle and live auction were a resounding success, with local live auction legend John G encouraging attendees to dig deep into their pockets and support TOBFC. Everyone enjoyed delicious nibblies and danced the night away to live music, courtesy of Adrian Rabbittee.
All funds raised will directly support TOBFC programs and services in Tanzania. Thank you to everyone who contributed to these outstanding results.
